Interest in air pollutants is growing along with the increasing  damage from acid rain and photochemical smog, as shown in the rise in respiratory diseases. We are facing the pressing task of removing nitrous oxide (NOx) and other major air pollutants, such as sulphuric acid, carbon monoxide and dioxin.
